Counselling psychologist
I am a registered Counselling Psychologist with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) and the Board of Healthcare Funders (BHF). My passion for psychology began during my studies and was enriched through years of hands-on work and volunteering in diverse settings.
Throughout my professional journey, I have had the privilege of working with a wide range of individuals, including the elderly, individuals living with severe mental illness, adolescents, young adults, abused children, recovering addicts, and members of the LGBTQIA+ community. These experiences have taught me to meet each client with empathy, openness, and respect for their unique life story.
My aim is to create a safe, non-judgmental therapeutic space — one where no topic is off-limits and where clients feel genuinely seen and heard. I believe therapy should be a place of exploration, support, and growth.
As a wife, mother, and someone who has been through my own therapy process, I understand how vulnerable it can feel to open up to someone new. This personal insight has helped me become a more attuned and compassionate psychologist — someone who holds space not just with professional skill, but with real human understanding.
