Clinical Psychologist
I am a registered Clinical Psychologist with a deep passion for understanding the human mind and the complex ways in which our thoughts, emotions, and life experiences shape who we are. I believe that meaningful change begins with insight, and that therapy can be a powerful space for growth, healing, and self-discovery.
I work with adolescents and adults who are experiencing a range of emotional and psychological difficulties. My areas of special interest include mood disorders such as depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder, as well as personality disorders, self-harm and suicidality, and forensic psychological work. I have experience working with individuals navigating intense emotional distress, complex personality dynamics, and high-risk situations, and I approach this work with both compassion and clinical precision.
I consider myself friendly, open, and approachable. I aim to create a safe, structured, and non-judgmental therapeutic environment where you can speak freely and feel genuinely heard. Whether you are struggling with persistent low mood, overwhelming anxiety, emotional instability, impulsive behaviors, relationship difficulties, or thoughts of self-harm, I will work collaboratively with you to better understand what is happening beneath the surface.
My therapeutic approach is grounded in evidence-based practice while remaining deeply human. I believe that we only have one life, and that despite pain, setbacks, or past trauma, it is possible to move toward greater stability, resilience, and fulfillment. Therapy is not about “fixing” you — it is about helping you understand yourself more clearly, strengthen your coping skills, and build a life that feels meaningful and manageable.
I offer therapy in both English and Afrikaans, and I welcome clients from diverse backgrounds. If you are looking for a Clinical Psychologist who is both compassionate and clinically skilled in working with complex mental health challenges, I would be honored to walk that journey with you.
