Counselling Psychologist

I am a dedicated psychologist with over 22 years of experience working across diverse settings, including private practice, public health, NGO's, the corporate sector, the Department of Health, academia, and the United Nations. I have worked with individuals from a wide range of cultural, national, and socio-economic backgrounds, providing psychological support for both personal and work-related challenges.

My work with the United Nations involved supporting staff and their dependents of diverse nationalities in high pressure and complex environments, including work related stress, burnout, interpersonal difficulties, change management, and trauma related to exposure to critical incidents. I regularly conducted symposiums for staff as well as webinars for staff at field offices.

During my time with the Department of Health I worked in primary healthcare clinics, delivering comprehensive psychological services to individuals and families from underprivileged communities.
I also worked as a university lecturer, where I lectured various psychology modules and provided clinical supervision, while remaining closely engaged with current research , evidence-based practice and contemporary psychological theories.

I also have extensive experience working with survivors of violence and torture, as well as women and children affected by domestic violence.

I offer a compassionate, ethical, and culturally sensitive approach, and I am adaptable and client-centered in responding to each individual's unique needs.
