Counselling psychologist
I am an enthusiastic and passionate Counselling Psychologist, dedicated to promoting mental health and improving quality of life through meaningful therapeutic work. I particularly enjoy working with adolescents and young adults, as I am deeply inspired by the resilience and potential that emerges during these life stages.
My work is grounded in a belief that our stories matter — the way we tell and make sense of our experiences can shape not only how we see ourselves, but how we connect with others and move through the world. I have a keen interest in the power of narrative and how it can be a gateway to healing, growth, and self-discovery.
My personal journey with psychology began through a desire to better understand human behaviour — especially my own. Like many, I have faced difficult experiences, and these have shaped the person I am today, as well as the therapist I strive to be. I believe therapy is a powerful space where people can be seen, heard, and deeply understood. I am passionate about walking alongside clients on their journey of growth and self-development, always encouraging them to embrace who they are with kindness and self-compassion.
I believe self-compassion is at the heart of mental well-being — it fosters emotional intelligence, gratitude, optimism, and healthier relationships with ourselves and others. My approach is grounded in person-centred and cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), with a strong appreciation for expressive tools such as journaling and creative writing. These practices allow for deeper self-connection and authentic expression.
My goal is to create a therapeutic space that is safe, non-judgmental, and empowering — a space where clients are invited to connect with themselves, explore their inner world, and recognise the strength and wisdom they already carry.
"Becoming is better than being."
