PSYCH CENTRAL TRAINING CLUB
WELCOME TO THE
GROW PROFESSIONALLY
The Psych Central Training Club is an online training community hosted by Christel Roets, clinical psychologist and founder of Psych Central. It has been developed specifically with the psychologist, registered counsellor, social worker and psychiatrist in mind, designed to convene mental health care professionals, bringing a multidisciplinary approach to the field of mental health. Psych Central Training Club gives mental health care professionals a space where they can learn from each other, on their own time, in the comfort of their own home, while still feeling like you are a part of a community and have support.
Love what you do.
BE A PART OF A COMMUNITY
Being a psychologist or mental health care professional can often be extremely isolating. Ongoing training and professional development often becomes tedious and time-consuming, leaving professionals to do any random course to make up for the CPD points they still need.
The Psych Central Training Club can help you to develop a diverse toolbox that can empower you to help others face challenges of their daily lives, relationships and mental health struggles. As a member of the Psych Central Training club, you will be growing professionally by exposing yourself to a wide range of approaches and professionals that will encourage you to approach each client with a renewed curiosity and confidence.
Each month Christel will be bringing you training sessions on private practice & the business of psychology, a pre-recorded case study with an online forum discussion, training interviews with other mental health care professionals in the field and relevant resource lists. We will also host a selection of carefully curated CPD courses developed by other professionals in the field.
EACH MONTH ON THE PSYCH CENTRAL TRAINING CLUB
You will have access to new training programs, including the following:
-
Monthly pre-recorded training session on private practice & the business of psychology (2 CPD points will be applied for) - R200: These sessions will include client retention, billing, admin & forms, Prescribed Minimum Benefits.
-
Monthly LIVE case presentation (2 CPD point will be applied for) - R200: This will be in a held on Zoom, accompanied by a PowerPoint presentation and can be presented by Christel herself or another identified psychologist.
-

Each video will be presented as a training course that you can complete on your own time and will provide opportunity for participants to leave their thoughts and contributions on a forum.
