New Mama Support Group

The first few weeks (even months) after giving birth can be extremely overwhelming. There's a new stranger in the house, who you need to get to know, while taking care of him/her at the same time. On top of this, it comes with a whole load of hormones, emotions, adjustments and newness. Having a baby is not always just sunshine, hugs and kisses. It can be very dissappointing at times and challenging to the extreme. In this safe space, we hope to explore what the birth process was like, giving moms a space to debrief (it can be quite traumatic and beautiful at the same time). We also want to normalize topics such as getting outside help, going back to work early, struggling to bond and adjusting to the new identity and role you find yourself in.
